Key definitions

Reuse

Any operation by which substances, materials or products that are not waste are used again for the same purpose for which they were designed

Repurposing

Any operation by which substances, materials or products that have become waste are used again, either for the same purpose or for a different purpose

Recycling

Any operation by which waste is processed to obtain substances, materials or products that can then be used either for their original purpose or for a new purpose

Examples of reuse

Packaging components (e.g. plastic/polystyrene corner protectors, packaging boxes for office chairs, pallets) that are still in good condition are saved by our installation teams and sent back to our factories so they can be reused
